This approach is suitable for traumas caused by prolonged or single-incident events, complex trauma, particularly those caused by a close person. It is also beneficial for traumas that reveal themselves as significant life events, even if they were not initially perceived as such by oneself or others.

Depression is one of the most complex challenges to address, as feelings of low energy and motivation can make it difficult for clients to engage in and apply therapeutic work. Mindfulness-Based Body-Mind Psychotherapy allows individuals to face these challenges effectively by creating a shift in energy from the body to benefit the mind.
