About
Mindfulness-Based Body-Mind Psychotherapy is an emotional therapy conducted through conversation, focusing on the experiences and sensations that arise in the present moment, rooted in our life events. Processing occurs in real time, addressing what lives within us and enabling us to speak directly from our experience, rather than about the experience. We engage with sensations, emotions, and the meaning
of events here and now. This processing creates ripples that impact all our challenges, in the present,
as well as past and future.
This therapeutic approach is grounded in the understanding that our emotional experience is shaped
by a wide range of influences, including past memories, physical sensations, and current emotional states.
By giving mindful, focused attention to our experiences in the moment, we allow ourselves to be fully present
in our lives. This allows us to uncover hidden patterns, understand the roots of our feelings, and foster positive, profound change.
I believe that within each of us exists the capacity and yearning for healing, which can emerge only when we allow it to arise from within. I see myself as a partner in this journey—a supporter, guide, and steady
presence—helping individuals find their way to emotional balance and peace.
The therapy I offer is built on a range of tools I have gathered over the years, which I integrate and tailor to
each person to create an optimal environment for their unique process. These tools include various mindfulness techniques, guided imagery, conscious breathing, and other advanced body-mind psychotherapy methods.
I bring with me curiosity free of judgment, a caring perspective, empathy, patience, and a strong belief in both the therapeutic process and in each person’s capacity for growth.
So, how does it work in practice?
We meet for an hour-long conversation, during which we dive into the sensations the client is experiencing.
The therapy involves dialogue only - no physical contact - yet connects deeply with bodily sensations and emotions through all of our senses. Throughout the session, we use different techniques to release tension, strengthen self-awareness, and create a safe space for the client to express everything they’re experiencing.
Through this process, clients learn to listen to their body and mind, recognize the signals they send, and respond accordingly. They gain tools to cope with challenging situations, release burdensome feelings, and reach a state of inner balance and tranquility. This process can lead to significant changes across various
areas of life, including interpersonal relationships, work, and general well-being.
Ultimately, Mindfulness-Based Body-Mind Therapy is a journey of self-discovery and personal empowerment, bringing the client closer to themselves, enhancing their self-understanding, and helping them find their path
to a fuller, more harmonious life.
